We are seeking a talented and motivated Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. Your primary focus will be on developing robust, scalable, and efficient Ruby on Rails applications, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails web applications to meet the project’s functional and performance requirements. This includes writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Database Management: Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying using ActiveRecord or other relevant technologies.
• Front-end Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for interaction with other services and client applications.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests to maintain application stability and facilitate future development.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues within the application.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, with 3 to 5 years.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., ActiveRecord).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of web services and API development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
